Boise Depot
As you walk through these beautiful gardens, you can journey back to a time when the Boise Depot was at the heart of Boise's comings and goings. Bittersweet memories of passionate partings and joyous reunions linger in the crisp air. The sounds of locomotion, conductors beckoning, and children playing echo off the walls. Since 1925 this building has stood as a symbol of the State Capitol's influence in the nation welcoming with its splendor national figures, statesmen, and politicians. Restored in 1992, the depot is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to provide the backdrop for memorable occasions. Come catch the train in the pleasant setting of the Boise Depot.
